About Me
Hello, Welcome, Bienvenido
On the personal side I’m just an amatuer poker player who enjoys nights at home with the family. I have a very understanding and supportive wife along with three kids to keep me busy. My "Day Job" is as a Site Manger for a Pari-Mutuel Wagering Systems provider. I also own and operate a home help desk service which can be found at TechGuyTom.com. Most recently I founded and am co-owner in a poker software review site at PokerTechReviews.com.
The blog itself began as a blogspot entity in April of 2004. It served as a personal diary detailing my trials on the virtual felt . If you take the time to read the archives you’ll find that I began playing for penny stakes. I’m not putting much more than that on the line now but my knowledge of the game sure has expanded.
In March of 2008 I began to take the blog into some new territory. I purchased a domain for the site and added a live video feed and IRC chatroom. Whenever I play poker now I put a table view up for everyone to see and discuss. I also began to branch out in topics. My other interests became a part of the posts and now you’ll find a mix of poker, technology, and sometimes a personal story or two.
I hope you enjoy your time here and come back to visit once in a while.
