Well I just finished watching the new poker movie Deal.
My Thoughts:
It’s better than Lucky You

My sporadic vacation from poker has been nice but it’s time to once again join the fray. Starting this week I’m going back to five days of play but I’m going to start with nothing but MTT’s. I will be looking to play four tournaments at a time and joining new ones as I bust out of earlier ones. I will not be playing all of these events but this is the schedule I plan on using each week.
Schedule:
Sunday
(varied) Sundays are a family day and I don’t plan on playing any of the majors so the tournaments I play will be random whenever time permits.
Monday-Thursday

Remember when shortly after Neteller shut out US players, PokerStars began the process of offering the Tru Card Prepaid Visa Card. They offered early signups for the card to select players and since Pokerstars wasn’t supporting ePassporte yet I signed up and took one. I never did use the card and I’m not even sure Pokerstars ever officially utilized it as a deposit and withdrawal method. The card has sat in my desk drawer since the day I rec. it and then today this came via email.

Seems odd that they would just be canceling my account since I’ve never used it. Sounds more like they may be closing down for good.
My enthusiasm for MTT play has been severely lacking lately. I played a total of five events in May and four of those were blogger donkaments. So far in June I’ve sat down for four tourneys. Again mostly blogger events. I’m in a MTT rut.
What was once my favorite game has been reduced to an effort in just throwing money away so I can move onto something else. I’m not sure what can be done to get the spark back. I’m tossing around the idea of putting some money on PokerStars and trying to qualify for the Sunday Million. Then I can just take the tournament dollars and play a bunch of events on someone else’s dime. At any rate I’m done with the blogger events, at least for the next little while. I don’t enjoy them and really just dump my chips anyway.
